Today I rolled out of bed and went to the farm with my mom and two of my cousins. I should mention that they’re twelve and fourteen years younger than me, so they’re actually more like nieces sometimes. I didn’t take fantastic photos by any means (we were getting our hands dirty sorting apples, picking tomatoes, and running around), but I got a few that sum up the day.
- Tom’s Bee-Loved Honey Bears for sale!
- The market, full of delicious fall goodness.
- Look what’s for sale! I love this time of year.
- My family had into U-Pick before U-Pick was trendy.
- When I came to college, I got a lot of comments about how I wasn’t the most thorough eater of apples, because I’d always leave a lot of core left. I’d always explain that my apples come from giant boxes – such as this one – and I just had a very different perspective on them than most people.
- So delicious.
- I love it, but it means the end of summer…
- Most of the time we were there, the market was full of people too.
- She’s pretty cute, isn’t she? :)
- I love the apple sorter. It is very exciting!
- Picking out which ones to sell and which ones will become delicious cider.
- Believe in the apple sorter.

These photos are full of joy!
And I wonder, did you ever get a new camera? I recognize some of those places. It looks like such a bountiful harvest!
